Landon Donovan the striker/mid for the LA Galaxy, and Team USA is now apart of Everton FC. This is great news for our club considering we are in 15th currently in the standings and need to shake up our roster with some changes. Let's go win some more guys and hope that Landon Donovan well lead us to victory! Landon is also great friends with Tim Howard our goal keeper and Landon's team mate on Team USA hope they can gel together and win for us.

The season Kicks off!

Tommrow Everton well kick off its season against Arsenal at 12:30 pm eastern time. It's a home game for everton and we hope to kick off the season right against a very tuff oppenent. There is no reason why we can't compete in the EPL this year and possibly even win it. Hoppfully myself, lol18, and lighting_strike can lead us to victory in powersoccer as well. I well do me best as co-captain and i know Lol18 and Lighting_strike feel the same way. Well let's wish our boys good luck tommrow and kick some Arsenal butt!!!!!

Hey all,

I know this is very late considering I have been in co-captain for a few weeks now, but I would like to introduce myself to the Everton fans so they can all get to know me better. I also suggest the other captains do the same so the fans will know you better as well. To begin, my user name is Lightning_Strike and I have been playing PS for almost 2 years. I have been very successful in this game(so far) and continue to play throughout the game until I complete all of my goals. My goals are becoming #1 in the USA, get 1,500 forum posts, become a level 99, and a new goal has been added to the list. This goal is to join the almighty --BDKAS-- clan. Currently, I am in BDKAS Juniors and am awaiting to reach the level of 60, in which I can apply and hopefully be allowed in --BDKAS--. In my spare time I like to play real soccer, as I myself think I am pretty good :P Well that's all from me for tonight.

Everton Vs MLS All Stars

This story is posted both on Everton Fan Zone and USA FAN Zone because it is a story for both teams so it well be reported for both Fan Zones.

Everton started out quick in the game stealing a sloppy pass from one of the MLS Defenders and Louis Saha finshed the goal perfect into the bottom corner of the net. Later in the 26th min of play Brad Davis tied it up on a sloppy clear. It was a fun match it this point as it should since it is only a Allstar Game for the MLS Allstars. On the other hand Everton probly wanted to come out and get confidence going into the EPL this season with a good 5th place finish last season. Conar Casey put a great header far side of the net in the 38th min of play but out of no where Tim Howard saved it! It was a great save by a great keeper it shows why he truly is one of the best in the world. He showed this again in the 41st min when he pushed a shot by Fredrick Ljungberg wide of the net. The action packed first half ended and the teams went to the locker room for some Gatorade! Come on who doesn't like gatorade?

The second half was just as good as the first. The start of the half was made up of lots of subs. Jo, and Landon Donovan were some of the subs made in the game to start the second half. Zack Thorton injured his leg in a wierd type play and he had to get taken off and Casey Keller was sent back on after they asked the refs if it was ok. Landon Donovan had a very ugly moment in the 73rd min when he hit the easy goal off the inside of the post which would of gave there team a 2-1 lead but it stayed at a even tie. Tim Howard pushed away a quick header in stoppage time to keep the game tied as he started to get a cramp as seen when he had to stretch after making such a remarkable save. Conar Casey got a ball in the final seconds of the game and trapped it in the box but Tim Howard again came up big and and snatched the ball before any damage could be done.

At the end of 90 mins the game was tied so it went to PK's. After some great goal keeping from Conar Casey, and Tim Howard they went into extra's in the PK's as well. Tim Howard came up with another save to win it. He simply showed why he is one of the greatest goalies we have in soccer today.

Everton vs Rochdale

Everton played Rochdale in a excting freindly which had 5 goals in it all together. It showed good things to come for everton and hopfully we well have games like that in the Regular Season. Duffy scored in the 7th min to start the game off fast. Dawson added to the lead in the 24th min of play. Rochdale respnded off a PK scored by Dagnell in the 29th min. Before half in the 32nd min another goal was scored by Jo. Late in the second half Jo scored another in the 78th min to finish the game on a good note. They look foward to an up coming game against River Plate next and also have a game against the MLS Allstars before the offical season starts.
